Now we know that the reason for the Klingon’s success on sissy planets where the populace was governed by a machine or government that provided everything thing they needed to survive. Not only did it destroy their independence and ability to care for themselves. They also prevented their ability to defend themselves by making the planet a “Phaser Free Zone”
